Welcome to ArtSquat

ArtSquat is a Scottish Charity which supports artists on low income develop and exhibit work in a range of local venues. We link up with galleries, cafes, community centres and businesses, who provide space for artists. We also work with charitable groups and established artists to put on exhibitions for community benefit.

Community

We are a community of people, volunteering together to support the development of art and artists. Our charity consists of Trustees, artists, supporters, space donors, local volunteers and designers. If you want to be involved in ArtSquat, contact us and we’ll be in touch.

We have an exciting new exhibition opening soon!! More Travels Whilst Standing Still – a series of paintings by artist Lucy Johnstone. Out of the Blue Drill Hall, 36 Dalmeney Street, Edinburgh EH6 8RG September 6th to 10th from 10am to 5pm. Free entry!

Proud!

ArtSquat held our first ever outside exhibition with Scottish based artists who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community. 'Proud!' took place within Montgomery Street Park, Edinburgh, on Saturday 24th July from 11am - 4pm, with artists showcasing their work. The weather stayed bright and warm and the day was a great success.

We Visualise Art
