From our incorporation in March 2018 to the end of our second year in March 2020 we have developed links with local galleries, businesses, space donors and artists in Edinburgh. Our launch exhibition took place in August 2018.
We have linked up with charities such as the Nepal Scotland Association, the Prince’s Trust, Crisis, the Refugee Council and Rock Trust who referred artists for exhibition space.
We established our social media presence on Facebook, Twitter and more recently Instagram.
We held eight exhibitions, using space in the Coburg House Art Studios, St Mary’s Cathedral and the Handmade Factory.
We recruited Trustees and volunteers and held regular meetings to review the progress of the charity.
Our first Annual General Meeting took place in June 2019. We evaluated our progress over the year and submitted our first year annual report and accounts to OSCR. Trustees are currently developing a strategy, which will be signed off at our second AGM in May 2020 and will be available on the website.
